The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a globally recognized standardized exam designed for assessing the academic readiness of candidates for graduate business programs, including MBA and specialized master’s degrees. It is developed and administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is widely accepted by top business schools worldwide.
The GMAT assesses four key skill areas essential for success in business and management studies:
Analytical Writing Assessment: A 30-minute writing task requiring analysis of an argument.
Integrated Reasoning: 30 minutes, featuring 12 questions that measure data analysis and interpretation skills.
Quantitative Reasoning: 62 minutes, with 31 multiple-choice questions covering problem-solving and data sufficiency.
Verbal Reasoning: 65 minutes, consisting of 36 questions focused on reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction.
The GMAT is scored on a scale of 200 to 800 points, with separate scores for each section.
