Immigration Rules For International Students In The UK

In order to maintain immigration status of UK, it is important for students to comply all the rules and regulations under tier 4 visa. As UK immigration keeps updating in every six months so students need to keep updated about the new immigration polies under student visa.

There are various steps to maintain your immigration status as a student in the UK.

1. Failure to attend classes or failing your courses could affect your immigration status. Therefore, it is cruical to be regular and punctual in your class. If in case you are unable to join your class due to some reasons you need to inform to the related departament and explain them the reasons on not being able to join the lecture. 

2. All your necessary documenst like your passport, visa, id card, driving licence and any other immigration documents need to maintain properly and keep it up-to-date.  Make sure to renew your visa before it expires if you plan to continue studying in the UK. 

3. In any circumstances, such as changes to your address, contact details, or course of study. You may need to update this information to your university, banks and other areas. 

4. You need to have sufficient amount of money to support yourself during your stay in the UK, as required by your visa conditions. This may include funds for tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, and any other necessary costs.

5. Comply with any health requiremennts, such as registering with a General Practitioner (GP) and maintaining appropriate health insurance coverage if necessary.

6. Students may allowed to work for 10 to 20 hours per week during term-time. If they work beyond those limited hours it might effect on immigration status. 

7.  International students in the UK will not be able to bring dependents to the UK via their student visa.
