CQUniversity Australia (CQUniversity) is a major public dual-sector university based in Queensland, Australia, established in 1967 and gaining university status in 1992. Headquartered in Rockhampton, it uniquely operates campuses in all mainland Australian states, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and multiple regional centers such as Bundaberg, Cairns, Mackay, Gladstone, and more.
With more than 33,000 students, it offers a blend of vocational (TAFE) and higher education programs—delivering over 250 courses, including certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, postgraduate qualifications, and research degrees. CQUniversity is known for pioneering distance and online learning since the 1970s and remains one of Australia’s most inclusive and flexible universities, catering to school leavers, working adults, First Nations students, and international learners.
