Savonia University of Applied Sciences (Savonia UAS) is a public university of applied sciences located in Kuopio, Iisalmi, and Varkaus, in the Northern Savonia region of Finland. Established in 1992 and granted permanent university status in 1998, Savonia currently serves approximately 6,500 undergraduate and 100 postgraduate students, supported by around 600 staff members.
